Thumbs Up Boy started months ago as an outlet against the few. A few too cool for schoolers who hadn't a sense of humor nor an understanding of the mission.
An urban high school, of course, connects everyone. An extended social network is best for such purposes, of designing a repetition. The value does not lie in the commentary, but in vague recognition and connection. The kid from the bus. That guy from grade school that Noone knows. That couple who can't keep their hands off each other.
Thumbs up boy is about respect, and thumbs up boy is about a mindset. Phase one is nearly over. Phase two will not operate properly in a college environment. Phase two is not about social networks. |
